Success!

Saturday's Women's Wellness Forum was amazing.  Over a dozen women came in to hear and learn about natural forms of healing, some 50 years old, some thousands of years old.

Thank you to Ellen, Tina, Paul and Jennifer for sharing their knowledge.

More to come this summer.....I'll post the dates as soon as it's booked.

Thanks!

Why.....because

Why would you take an afternoon to attend the wellness forum?

Because.....
  • what you are doing isn't working
  • you've tried everything else and it doesn't work
  • you're tired of being sick
  • you're tired of being tired
  • you're afraid of the side effects of drugs
  • you can't afford your medicines, frequent doctors visits and insurance any more
  • you know deep down in your heart that there is a better way than synthetic drugs
  • you don't know how to come out of illness into wellness
  • you're tired of being poisined by your food
  • you're doctor doubts you or won't work with you
  • you feel depressed and sick all the time
  • you're tired of the spare tire
  • You want something proven _ effective _ balanced _ natural

Plastic = heart attacks??

Bisphenol-A, commonly called BPA is a chemical additive in plastics.  Until recently, it was in everything plastic - water bottles, storage containers, baby bottles, milk jugs, etc.  It's released when temperature changes happen in the plastic - either cold or hot.  That's why they say not to heat up your food in plastic or to freeze your water bottle - the BPA is "leeched" into the food or product in the container.

note:  it's also found in canned foods.

BPA is known as a zenoestrogen - it's been directly linked to breast cancer - and now it's been linked to heart attacks in women.  Because it acts as an estrogen in the body, it disrupts lots of body processes.

Read the article for more information.

What can you do to stay away from it:

1.  Use glass or stainless steel water bottles
2.  Use glass containers to store and reheat food
3.  Reheat food in pans, instead of containers
4.  Buy products that are labeled BPA free
5.  Buy frozen fruits and vegetables or tomatoes in cartons and glass jars!
